Jakkie Pidanick NSCA-CSCS, NSCA-CPT, APFA-CPT
As a fitness trainer, I have the ability to have a positive influence on people’s lives. I enjoy shaping my client’s bodies as well as their nutritional habits and seeing these transformations occur right before my eyes. Stronger, healthier people mean happy people…and what could be more rewarding than that!
I entered college in 1998 and declared majors in Exercise Science and Nutritional Science with a concentration in occupational therapy. As my knowledge grew so did my interests and I became a strength coach at St. Bonaventure, The University of Buffalo, and then at Niagara University where I also coached tennis. Along the way I played Division 1 Volleyball, became certified as a water aerobics instructor, danced competitively as a ballroom dancer and celebrated my 10th anniversary as a Personal Trainer. The next phase of my professional development consisted of specialty training to go along with my certifications (NSCA-CSCS, NSCA-CPT, APFA-CPT and Body Balance University Pilate’s Mat Trainer). These specialties included the following: performance enhancement , youth strength development, and special populations. My current goal is to teach and help educate the next generation of trainers.
My philosophy and mission is to have the knowledge, strength and ability to help each and every person that walks through my door achieve their fitness goals no matter what obstacles they face.
