Odyssey Health Club Football Performance focuses on position-specific football training and combines key on-field and off-field elements, including position-specific drills, situational practice sessions, classroom film study, live scrimmages and instruction from former NCAA/NFL players and coaches. Our core football performance training includes football-specific physical conditioning and mental conditioning with Odyssey Health Club specialists.

The foundation of any effective football conditioning program is strength training, cardio & muscular endurance, and footwork (mobility)…Absolute or maximal strength is not enough if football players want to reach their full potential. A player must have the cardio endurance to constantly perform at the maximum level every snap, every play. In addition, the player must have the right tools in the form of superior footwork (mobility) and position specific skills. To gain the greatest advantage, maximal strength should be converted into explosive power, moreover; position specific explosive power combining endurance and proper footwork (mobility). Power is a combination of strength and speed.
